Australian Open 2019: Why Milos Raonic is the contender no one is talking about

Nick Kyrgios, Stan Wawrinka, Pierre Herbert and now Alexander Zverev.

Milos Raonic is building some CV at Melbourne Park.

And with the big serving Canadian set to face either Borna Corci or Lucas Pouille, there’s every reason for him to believe he can make it to the semi-finals, where a likely date with Novak Djokovic would await.

“It’s not fun necessarily before the tournament starts to look at it and say, ‘Hey, you play Nick to most likely play Stan in the first two rounds’,” Raonic said.

“You’re sort of hoping for a bit more time to really work your way into things.

“But then on the other end of it I dealt with those challenges really well.

“Right now I’m here playing some extremely good tennis, I believe. Hopefully I can make that count.”

Meltdown has racquet CRUSHED0:51

For all of the talk about the likes of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic being in danger of being overtaken by the kids, Raonic has somewhat become the forgotten man.

At 28, he’s hardly a spring chicken in sporting terms.

But when you consider Federer and Serena Williams are still playing at 37, 28 is almost the new 21.

What’s more, of the current players, no man under 30 has won a set in grand slam final.

We’re living in a bizarre time.

And with the likes of Federer and Zverev out of the tournament, the men’s draw is looking as open as ever.

The Demon lets loose in club0:31

Raonic’s best performance at the Australian Open was a semi-final berth in 2016. He should have made the final that year, but injury struck when he was leading Andy Murray.

In an ominous sign, however, he believes he’s a better player now.

“I had a really good off-season. I put in some of the best hours in a long period of time, maybe if ever,” he said.

“I think I’m a better player than I was back then.

“I think back then I just found some situations a little bit easier to deal with, because I had three or two good years from ‘14 to ‘15 before that, and it was sort of — you don’t have to think about things as much.”

Bali's Denpasar Listed on World's 10 Healthiest City

Best Asia Real Estate Editors Comments:
Finally, a report that proves what I've been stating for years, that Bali is on of the healthiest areas to live in the world.

I will argue with the article below a little bit in that they state “Bali's Denpasar Listed on World's 10 Healthiest City”. Most of us that live here consider Denpasar the downtown of Bali. I can guarantee with massive traffic the air is not that clean.

But you must consider that Denpasar also includes the beachfront resort of Sanur where we built our Emerald villas, Golden Villas and Jade which has some of the cleanest air in Bali.

Of course, of further you go from that congested areas of Denpasar in southern Bali the clearer the air gets.

If you drive 15 minutes out to where I live on the beach in Pantai Purnama I don't have a meter, but I can guarantee you that you we will probably find our air in the top 1 % of the world.

Australia’s Housing-Sector Slump Shows Up in Another Sickly Set of Data

Best Asia real estate editor's comments:
A year and 1/2 ago even before prices started falling I warned investors in my seminars, newsletters and blogs that Australia real estate was going to fall in most areas for the first time in decades.

At the time nobody believed me. As can be seen below the "Housing-Sector Slump Shows Up in Another Sickly Set of Data"

Now there asking me how much is going to fall? Unfortunately my answer is a lot. Whatever happened last year is going to be 150% to 200% worse this year.

In fact after visiting Sydney in July and Perth in January a few weeks ago I am more convinced than ever that even Perth which I was on the fence about is also heading down. Too much supply to few buyers and mediocre if not poor economy.

For 2019 These are the world’s biggest property bubbles as ranked by UBS

Best Asia real estate editor's comments:
I found this chart and article below while looking for charts for 2018 for my forthcoming seminar.
Details of the free seminars are listed below the article.

I found it very interesting that frankly these predictions are exactly in line with my predictions.
Those of you who have been following my predictions for the last 20 years are well aware that I am batting about 95% accuracy on real estate predictions around the world.

If you're in any of these bubble markets you better get out now.
Last year I told everybody to get out of Australia, Toronto, Vancouver, Montréal after visiting those areas I found that the market was way overpriced and all my acid tests were failing.

According the article below "Hong Kong is deemed the most at-risk area in terms of a property price bubble".

Attendees at free Bali seminars avoided real estate crashes around the world and profited from new Bali real estate upturn

Twenty two year Resident of Bali Mr. Lawrence Bellefontaine President, Dir. of PT Bali affordable lifestyles international who manages PT. Bali Luxury Villas and Best Asia Real Estate has been one of the most prominent figures on the Bali real estate scene for the past 18 years.

He pioneered Bali luxury villa developments and the Bali real estate market.

For the past few years he came out of semi retirement and started offering free Bali real estate seminars when he saw the beginning of a new upturn in Bali real estate after a four-year downturn that caused prices to drop 20% to 50%.

At his free seminars since 2017 he made several radical predictions about the world real estate markets and especially Bali.

He predicted that many real estate markets around the world were going to crash including Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and even Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal.

Most attendees did not believe his predictions.

Bali's Denpasar Listed on World's 10 Healthiest City

Best Asia real estate editor's comments:
Lawrence look at the sunset as he states on a clear day I can see up to 140 km away across the Badung straits to the east of Bali

Finally, a report that proves what I've been stating for years, that Bali is on of the heathiest areas to live in the world.

If you drive 15 minutes out to where I live on the beach in Pantai Purnama I don't have a metre, but I can guarantee you that you we will probably find our air in the top 1 % of the world.

Why because there's virtually no homes or industry around us and the Tradewinds normally flow from the south southeast which is basically coming from Antarctica, there is no air pollution there.
Lawrence in his Jacuzzi and Pantai Purnama

As the cities around the world including Bangkok today, who reported dangerous levels of carbon monoxide, begin to kill people off vast numbers many people will be seeking to move to areas with clean-air such as Bali especially if they have children or older family.

Bangkok pollution 2019 – 01 – 14

I will mention this in my seminars this Thursday night and Saturday along with the Past, Present, and future of Bali real estate.

Now when you consider Bali has some the cleanest air, one of the lowest crime rates, and some of the the friendliest people in the world plus one of the lowest costs of living is the world there is no reason why you wouldn't want to buy a Bali home or retirement home. Especially since it has some of the lowest priced real estate in the world.

Couple that with the fact we've already had our first selloff in more than a century which drove prices down 20% to 50% and those that pickup properties now may earn huge returns soon, you have all the ingredients for a robust real estate market for the next 5 to 10 years.

That's the reason I've lived here for 22 years and why I just put an offer in on my first property in the last six years after earning substantial profits in my first 16 years living in Bali.

As I state at my seminars this is the second-best time to buy Bali real estate this century.

Sees details after this article on how you can sign up for our forthcoming seminars which have very limited space.

Bali's Denpasar Listed on World's 10 Healthiest City

TEMPO.COJakarta - England-based tourism service company TravelSupermaket listed Denpasar in Bali as one of the World's 10 healthiest cities.
“Denpasar is the only city in Indonesia that is included on the list of 10 healthiest cities,” said Dewa Gede Rai, Head of the City Public Relation and Protocol Section of Denpasar, Bali on Thursday, January 10.
The first position is achieved by Paris, France. It is followed b Chiang Mai, Thailand; Barcelone, Spain; Pattaya, Thailand; Vancouver, Canada; Miami; San Fransisco, United States; Lisbon, Portugal; Denpasar, Indonesia; and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
TravelSupermarket, as quoted from Antara, utilized various data source in creating the list, such as data from a market research agency Euromonitor International, TripAdvissor, Yelp, and World Weather and Climate.
Other aspects used to measure the healthiness level of a city include Spa places, yoga and pilates studios, until the number of healthy food shops and vegan restaurants.
The sun exposure coverage and the average price of staying in a hotel were also used as the assessment aspects.
